KLEE is a German-language pop band from Cologne. But their musical influences are mainly from British bands like New Order, The Cureand The Smiths– and even The BeatlesIn 1996 Suzie Kerstgens, Tom Deininger and Sten Servaes founded the band Ralleyand released two CDs: "Ralley" (1997) and "1,2,3,4" (1999). After a car crash, and a long, compulsory break, they renamed themselves into KLEE, after the famous painter Paul Klee (but literally meaning "Clover"). As KLEE they released their first CD "Unverwundbar" in 2002 with the respectable Club-Hits "Erinner Dich" and "Lichtstrahl". Their second outcome was "Jelängerjelieber" with their so far biggest chart-success "Gold" and "2 Fragen", which became the theme for the campaign “Die Gesellschafter†by the German association “Aktion Menschâ€.
